Originally titled Heat, this is a remake of the Burt Reynolds crime thriller from the 80s - which in turn was based on a novel by William Goldman. In it, Nick Wild, a recovering gambler, finds himself in Las Vegas. Drawn there by the siren call of the neon and his undying need for gambling, Wild takes a variety of jobs providing security and protection for his friends in order to support his addiction.
