The Homesman [Vudu SD]

George Briggs is left in the middle of the prairie, sitting on a horse, a nose around his neck and tied to a tree. Before the horse can take off and leave Briggs to die, a claim jumper named Mary Bee Cuddy happens by. Briggs begs her to save him. Cuddy cuts him free and takes him back to her home. There she makes a deal with him. In exchange for saving his life, he must escort three women from Nebraska to Iowa. It will not be an easy trip. Along the way, Briggs and his charges must survive encounters with bandits and Indians. To make things even more difficult, all three women under Briggs's care are insane.
