Nadine is a junior in high school with many of the problems that many girls that age face, but Nadine feels that she has it worse due to the existence of her all-star athletic older brother Darian. Things take a turn for the worst when Darian begins dating Nadine's best friend and takes away the last thing Nadine felt she had. Nadine soon finds comfort in her new friend Erwin and she discovers that sometimes things aren't as bad as they seem.
