Unimportant magicians are brought together by an unknown person. This person gives them a plan for a spectacular illusion. After one year, they show up under a new name, the Four Horsemen. The big feature of their show will be a bank robbery. This leads to the FBI being notified, and agent Rhodes is assigned to the case. A wacky investigation soon follows, and unexpected twists complicate this puzzling final act. Just when you think you have it figured out, you'll be thrown for a loop, because nothing is as it seems.
