Joe [Vudu SD]

When fifteen year-old Gary crosses paths with washed up ex-con Joe in the backwoods of Mississippi, Joe hires him to help in his illegal tree-killing operation aimed to profit lumber companies. Soon the two begin to bond and Joe finds himself becoming a role model for the young boy. However, when Gary's drunken, abusive father starts to make a nuisance of himself and tries to interfere, the tension mounts as Joe's own violent behavior begins to resurface.
