The Croods need to leave their cave that once protected them after it has been ruined by a disaster. The caveman dad takes his family away from their cave to make sure they are kept from future harm. During this time, the prehistoric family encounters a quick-thinking teen named Guy. He offers this clan his assistance in helping them reach a place where they will be safe from future disasters.
