High-school student, Quentin Jacobson has loved Margo Speigelman his entire life, but has never made it known. After she dresses up like a ninja and crawls through his window in the middle of the night asking for his help in a personal-revenge plot, Quentin immediately agrees. After their adventure ends, Quentin's next day at school turns into a mystery searching for a now missing Margo. Quentin discovers clues hidden around the school's campus, left by Margo, that lead him to discover that everything he thought he knew about his secret-love may be wrong.
