Valentin lives in Acapulco, and he's used to the high life of lovin' and leavin' a long string of ladies. However, one of those ladies leaves him something that changes his approach to life. He finds a baby on his porch one day, and suddenly he is a single dad with important responsibilities. Despite his free-wheeling ways, he moves to Los Angeles, where he settles down and embraces the task of fatherhood. Over the course of six years, he becomes a wonderful dad to Maggie, who is completely devoted to him. His world is torn apart when the birth mother shows up unexpectedly and announces her intention to take her daughter back. Now that Maggie's changed him for the better, he's afraid he'll lose her.
