Nino Brown, a drug dealer of epic proportions, establishes himself and his gang as the primary distributors of crack in the area. In the process, many gang members suffer from tragic death and betrayal, and old friendships are lost in the pursuit of fame and power. He eventually attracts the attention of law enforcement and street-savvy cop Scotty Appleton sets himself up to be the man that would see the kingpin fall. Nino is eventually brought before a judge to answer for his crimes and many of his past associates turn on him, becoming witnesses. He is acquitted and justice for his crimes is only then found in the pistol of an old man looking for revenge for the death of his grandchild.
